Sidewinder 70
SIDEWINDER 70 at LAUGHLIN INFO SHEET
This ride is a one day ride of approximately 70 miles in length. This length, structure and format is what Trac-On started with in its first ride of February of 2004. Like the two day rides, this ride will always be held at different locations year to year. This ride is also the least expensive ride that Trac-On offers from year to year. Like the other rides that Trac-On offers, this ride is a mixture of single track, two track and sand wash for the A ride and two track, graded road for the B ride.
At this point, Trac-On had used the Nevada theme, the western mining theme and now it was time to use a desert animal or reptile. I came up with about ten different options and it was the Sidewinder that worked the best. It had a good sound with 70 and the ride itself will always be laid out with a lot of turning and twisting. To put 70 miles into some of these small areas can be a challenge.
In November you can be sure that this ride will take place in the Mojave Desert or the Sonoran Desert.
